Salesforce rebuilt Nonprofit Cloud from the ground up in its Winter '24 release. The new Fundraising app replaces the legacy Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) with three purpose-built objects: Opportunity, Gift Commitment, and Gift Transaction. This cleaner data model handles pledges, recurring gifts, and complex grant structures without the workarounds that NPSP required. Alongside it, the new Outcome Management app gives program teams a structured way to collect participant data before, during, and after programs, with indicator libraries and time-bound performance periods that connect program delivery directly to impact reporting.

Accounting System Integration: Bi-directional sync with QuickBooks or Sage Intacct so finance teams stop manually reconciling gift data against the general ledger. We map fund codes, campaign designations, and restriction types so every dollar posts to the right account automatically.
Volunteer and Event Management: Volunteer portals built on Experience Cloud where supporters can sign up for shifts, log hours, and see their impact. For events, we configure registration, ticketing, and post-event follow-up workflows that feed directly into your donor engagement scoring.
